Golfer lives his dream – Inspires Millions

March 18, 2009 · Posted in Choices, Inspiration, Motivation, Success · 10 Comments

What’s your problem?

That’s right – what’s your problem?  You’ve go one, right?  You know, “that thing” that keeps you from being a success.  Those things – (excuses) – that stand between what we are and what we want to be.

  • I’m too shy
  • I don’t know the “right” people
  • it takes money to make money and I’m broke
  • he, she, it, they are special
  • I’m not smart enough
  • blah, blah, blah

Give me character every time

It’s all about your character – what you believe in and whether you believe a thing is possible – FOR YOU!

This golfer lived his dream, because he had one – a dream that is.  If you’ll notice, it took:

  • an idea
  • asking for help
  • planning
  • DOING - oh yeah, the actual doing – the thing separating the heroes from the wannabes

D.J. Gregory walks every hole of every round of every tournament of the PGA tour.  Not even the pros do it.  Want to know why this is special?  Watch the video.

Don’t tell me:

  • what you’d like to do or be
  • what your dreams are
  • your problems are
  • why YOU can’t accomplish anything

I don’t want to hear it.  Show me what you can do.  Be an example for your wife and kids.  Empower the people around you by your example – or just SHUT UP and QUIT WHINNING – we have enough people doing that right now.

Wow!  Future Technology Looks Incredible

How would you like to be able to walk up to anyone or anything and immediately have access to extensive knowledge of that person or thing?  Sound impossible?  Watch the video below and be amazed.

Basically it’s a wearable, intuitive. sixth sense device that gives the wearer immediate information.

  • what toilet paper should you buy?
  • the latest news
  • is the person you’re talking to “wanted”?
  • is your flight on time?

The entrepreneurial advantages of such a device would be incredible.

  • current news / trends anytime, anywhere
  • immediately know who you’re dealing with
  • mindmap your idea anywhere
  • unlimited potential

Keep this on your radar – you’ll see it again.!

Twitter – the Next Big Thing!

March 13, 2009 · Posted in Networking · Comment

Okay, you’ve seen it on the news, read about on blogs and it keeps popping up at the water cooler.  Yes – it’s twitter.

What’s Twitter?

My short answer — if a blog married a chat room and they had a child, it’s name would be twitter.  That sounds silly – hey, I felt silly writing it.

In truth, twitter is a phenomenal communication tool that puts you in contact with almost anyone in the world.  You can follow anyone and they may even follow you back.  Unlike Facebook, you don’t have to be friends.  You can share your thoughts, great sites, news — you name it.

Where to start

  • Go to twitter and set up an account – its simple, quick and best of all FREE
  • Create your profile – don’t worry too much about this, you can update anytime
  • Spend a little time following the public timeline
  • Start using the search function to find people who have similar interests
  • Follow me

A good video introduction

Like anything new, there’s a short learning curve – very short.  If you can type – you’re in.  See you soon and by the way I’ll follow you back.
