About
My name is Chris Melton. While in college, I became involved in a graduate teaching program and realized that teaching is something I’m passionate about. Soupornuts.com is my attempt to share my passion by:
- inspiring everyone to to reach for their dreams
- motivating readers to take the necessary steps to reach their potential (which is far greater than you can imagine)
- helping people face their obstacles, rather than avoid them
- providing helpful information about personal development, entrepreneurship and links to other web sites that can be beneficial along our journey to success
- holding you accountable for the abilities and gifts that are yours to share
- helping you to understand that by helping others, we help ourselves
A life-long entrepreneur
I am also a life-long entrepreneur and the co-owner of Joint Mechanix, LLC, the company that created the Rotater.
The Rotater is a marvel. It is a simple, but unique device that gives you the ability to stretch your shoulder, increase your flexibility and regain your shoulder function and mobility.
“The Rotater itself has proved invaluable to my patients’ shoulders and their subsequent recovery. It has been used for a variety of overuse, sports, orthopedic, and post-surgical conditions to date, and on a large group of patients as well. Everyone from grandma with adhesive capsulitis to the major league baseball pitcher has reaped its benefits, and I look forward to many more.”

The Rotater - helping people with their shoulder rehab
We began marketing the Rotater to post-surgical patients, but have since been flooded with orders from athletes (especially golfers, baseball players, softball players, volleyball players, tennis players, swimmers and much more).
“By using the Rotater for only a few minutes a day, stretching my shoulder both internally and externally, I have been able to see a measurable difference in the range of motion in my shoulder. This has transferred over to a wider, more efficient and more powerful turn in my golf swing.”

Helping breast cancer survivors
Recently we were made aware of the need for shoulder rehabilitation among breast cancer survivors. This resulted in the creation of the Pink Rotater and our “Stretching Shoulders to Stretch Lives” commitment.
“There are a lot of exercises my doctor told me to do but his one works the best. Thank you for creating something breast cancer survivors can use to help with our rehabilitation after surgery.”
